2º ENCONTRO DOS ENTALADOS, DIAS 10 E 11 DE OUTUBRO. Na noite passada saímos do campo base por volta da meia-noite em direcção à face sul do GVI. Uma hora e meia depois, cruzavamos várias acumulações de grandes avalanches recentes. Uma hora depois, passámos a fenda da rimaya e rápidamente atingimos o primeiro esporão de rocha. A neve não estava em más condições mas, por debaixo corria água a jorros. Deste modo damos por terminada a expedição sem o sucesso desejado.
